Knowledge is the product we're proudest to distribute.

Since 1999, MediaCast has done more than move equipment across MENA and Türkiye. We have built the people who design, install and run it — because a distributor is only as strong as the knowledge it leaves behind.

Our Philosophy

We don't sell boxes. We build capability.

We believe technology only creates value in trained hands. A console is potential; a certified operator is a result. So a distributor's real job isn't to move product — it is to raise the competence of the entire channel it serves, and keep raising it.

Audio and broadcast are disciplines, not purchases. We treat the engineer, the integrator and the operator as professionals whose mastery we exist to serve. Our training is taught by practitioners, on real signal chains, with no marketing gloss.

For over two decades that investment compounds: better-run rooms, better-specified systems, a region that can hold its own. Empowerment is the strategy.

A distributor is only as strong as the knowledge it leaves behind.

Peyman Dadpanah · Founding Partner & Business Director
The Investment We Make

Capability doesn't happen by accident. It's funded.

We invest inward first. Our own engineers and specialists — Lawrence, Mamdouh, Abigail, Joel and Mahmoud among them — hold live manufacturer certifications and re-certify continuously, because we cannot teach what we haven't mastered ourselves.

And we invest outward: funding partner enablement, hosting manufacturer trainers in the region, sponsoring certification seats for the channel, and maintaining demo-grade signal chains at MCX so every session is hands-on, not slideware.

Who We Train

Different rooms. Same standard.

One page, three audiences. The depth changes; the discipline never does.

01

Customers & Operators

Empowered, not just equipped.

Broadcasters, editors and colourists, houses of worship, venues and corporates — we train the people who run the systems and finish the work until the technology answers to them. Mastery creates opportunity: new formats to offer, new services to launch, new confidence to say yes to bigger work.

  • Full command of the systems you own
  • Skills that open new opportunities
  • Confidence to take on bigger work
02

Channel Partners

Sell it. Support it. Mean it.

Product mastery, honest positioning and first-line support competence — so partners represent the brands credibly and stand behind what they sell. A partner who can demo with confidence and answer the hard question on the spot wins the deal, and keeps the customer long after it.

  • Deep product knowledge
  • Confident positioning & demo skill
  • First-line technical support
03

Integrators

Specify with authority.

Certified, design-grade competency for the firms who design and specify — deep technical, standards-aware, ready to stake their name on the recommendation. When a design gets challenged, certified knowledge is what holds the specification together.

  • Design-grade technical depth
  • Standards & workflow fluency
  • Certified credibility
What We Teach

Seven courses, taught by people who do the work.

They sit exactly where the region needs real, hands-on competence — colour and post, live switching, cinematography and music — taught on the very equipment we distribute. Each runs on a ladder of mastery: Workshop → Operational → Certified.

DaVinci Resolve Certified Training

Certified Post-Production
Grading suite
Grading suite · MCX colour bay

…what DaVinci Resolve certification actually covers.

DaVinci Resolve began as the colour system behind Hollywood's biggest films — the tool colourists used to give a picture its look. Blackmagic Design turned it into something unprecedented: a single application that carries a production from the first edit through colour, sound and visual effects to a finished master, with no round-tripping between programs. Today it is the world standard for colour and, increasingly, the finishing environment of choice for post houses, broadcasters and independent filmmakers across the region.

This is the official, authorised pathway to Blackmagic certification — a credential recognised worldwide, not a certificate of attendance. MediaCast is the only Blackmagic Design Certified Training provider in MENA and Türkiye, so this is the real thing: taught on real footage, in a colour-managed pipeline, with your hands on the panel.

ATEM Live Switching

Live Production & Switching
Operator switching a live show on an ATEM panel
Program & preview · ATEM switching

…what an ATEM can actually do in trained hands.

An ATEM is a live production switcher — the device that takes every camera, computer and playback source in a live show and lets one operator cut between them in real time, key in talent, mix the audio, and stream or record the result. Blackmagic's ATEM line runs from the pocket-sized Mini powering millions of podcasts to the Constellation switchers driving stadium broadcasts. More than any single product, it put genuine broadcast capability within reach across the region.

But a switcher is only as good as the person driving it — most owners use a fraction of the panel. This course closes that gap, hands-on, until keying cleanly and building a macro are second nature.

TriCaster Operational Training

Live Production & Switching
Two operators at a TriCaster control surface
Multi-camera gallery · Live production

…what a clean live show actually takes.

Before all-in-one live production was common, TriCaster — created by NewTek, today part of Vizrt — invented the category: one system that is switcher, graphics engine, recorder, streamer and virtual-set generator at once. It endures in broadcast, corporate and event production precisely because a single trained operator can run a complete multi-camera show from it.

The difference between a clean show and a scramble is almost never the equipment; it's whether the operator truly knows the system. We drill it on the hardware, under time pressure, until it's muscle memory.

Live Production Training

The Whole Discipline
Live studio
Live studio · MCX show floor

…what modern live production actually looks like.

Live production is not a device — it's a discipline. It's the craft of tying cameras, a switcher, audio, graphics, comms and streaming into one repeatable workflow that holds up under pressure, on air, with no second take. This programme steps back from any single box and teaches the whole performance.

Most live failures aren't technical — they're organisational. A dropped feed, a missed cue, a muted mic come from a team that knows its gear but not its workflow. We build the shared language and run-of-show discipline that keep a crew calm when it's live.

Filmmaking — Blackmagic Cinema Cameras

Cinematography & Filmmaking
Cinema camera training session in the studio
On set · Blackmagic cinema

…what turns capable hardware into a cinematic image.

A Blackmagic cinema camera captures far more than a stills camera or a camcorder: a large sensor with wide dynamic range, recording Blackmagic RAW — a flat, information-rich image built to be graded. That's also why it's unforgiving of guesswork; the look is made in the decisions around the shutter, not in a picture profile. From the Pocket Cinema Camera to the URSA Cine, these cameras have shot features, commercials and series.

The gap between amateur and cinematic footage is rarely the camera — it's understanding exposure, RAW and colour management. This workshop closes that distance, and hands off cleanly into a DaVinci Resolve grade.

Mobile Film Production — Blackmagic Camera App

Cinematography & Filmmaking
Mobile film production training with smartphone rigs
Mobile capture · Blackmagic Camera app

…what a phone can actually shoot with real controls.

The Blackmagic Camera app did something quietly radical: it brought the controls, formats and Blackmagic RAW of a cinema camera to the iPhone, and connected it to Blackmagic Cloud so footage moves straight into a Resolve edit. Suddenly the camera in your pocket shoots in the same colour space as the cameras on set.

What it can't give you is craft. This workshop supplies the framing, exposure discipline and sound that separate professional mobile work from everything else — so ‘shot on a phone’ becomes a point of pride, not an apology.

Music Production Workshop

Music & Audio Production
Music production training in the studio
Recording & production · Studio

…what it takes to make it sound like a record.

Recorded music is an illusion built from decisions — where to place a microphone, how to set a gain stage, what to leave out of a mix. The tools have never been cheaper or more capable, and yet the gap between a demo and a record is wider than ever, because that gap is skill, not gear.

This workshop rebuilds the fundamentals from the microphone to the master: how to capture a clean source, how to hear a mix honestly, how to decide with intention — empowering artists, studios and content teams to finish work that actually sounds finished.
