Vizrt didn’t follow
broadcast technology.
It invented it.

In 1997, a Norwegian election needed a new way to visualise data live on television. The system built for that broadcast became Vizrt — and it changed the industry permanently. The world’s first template-based graphics system. The world’s first virtual set. The world’s first real-time 3D broadcast graphic.

The acquisition of NewTek — creators of TriCaster and the NDI protocol — gave Vizrt the world’s most complete live production portfolio.
