MOTU (Mark of the Unicorn) was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1980 and has been developing professional music technology ever since. The MOTU 828 is one of the longest-running and most trusted professional audio interfaces — now in its fourth generation, the 828es delivers 28 inputs and 32 outputs with USB and Thunderbolt connectivity, DSP mixing and comprehensive I/O including ADAT for channel expansion into UA Apollo systems. The 16A adds 16 channels of analogue conversion for large-session tracking requirements.

MOTU’s AVB ecosystem enables professional audio distribution over standard Ethernet — the MOTU AVB Switch provides the network infrastructure for up to 128 channels of audio sharing between any MOTU AVB devices on the network. The 1248 interface provides 48 channels of AVB-networked audio in a 1RU unit. Used in theatres, universities and broadcast facilities for flexible, scalable audio distribution.
